EU General Data Protection Regulation review and general data protection regulation obligations imposed on companies

With the entry into force of the Data Protection Regulation, companies in the EU, as well as companies (may be a controller or processor) outside the EU, who have been in to the scope of the Regulation have initiated the harmonization studies. In case of non-compliance with the provisions of the Regulation, due to the high amount of fines foreseen, it is necessary to determine the content of the Regulation and explain the obligations of the companies that are in the position of controller or processor. This work will be carried out a general review of the Regulation, the cases in which it is binding for the Turkish company, enforceability of the Regulation in Turkey will be examined and Regulation imposed obligations, such as what the controller or processor company located in Turkey.
