Impacts of tourism on household income according to the regions in the Europe Union

The Subject of this study is the situation and importance of the effect of tourism on household income according to EU states. The first subject is the economic effect of tourism and this economic effect can be studied under two topics: positive effects and negative effects. Under the topic of positive effects; the effects on tourism employment, income, GDP, balance of payments, taxation, regional developments and on the other sectors were highlighted. Under the topic of negative effects; the effects on tourism on imports, inflation, oppurtunity cost, seasonality and externally were highlighted. At the second part, the relation of tourism sector with EU is studied as part of historical evolution of tourism politics and employment politics. Finally at the last part, the effects of investment of tourism sector on household income according to EU states is planned to analize by using ArcGIS program according to NUTS 2 datas downloaded from Eurostat. Analysis of the raw data that is required in the context of Euro stat database from views. In the study, i tried to reveal if the number of tourism Corporation is an effective variable on household income in 2000-2011 by using Geographically Weighted Regression analysis.
