Abstract (EN)
In this study, sperm samples were collected from 100 men between the ages of 21-40 from Yarmouk Hospital in Baghdad Governorate, Babel Hospital in Babel Governorate, AL-Safwa Hospital in AL-Anbar Governorate and infertility laboratories in private laboratories. The density of Y chromosome microdeletions in the collected samples was examined. The control group consisted of 50 men without Azoospermia, along with 50 other men infected with Azoospermia by hybridization polymerase chain reaction. In this study, immunological markers (IL-6 and IL-1beta) were used and it was examined whether there was a correlation with Y chromosome azoospermia factors (AZF) microdeletions. On the Y chromosome, AZFc deletions were found to be more common than AZFa and AZFb microdeletions on the Y chromosome. In the current study, while there is no correlation between Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and Y Chromosome microdeletion, there is a correlation between Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1Beta) and Y Chromosome microdeletion.
