Özet (EN)

This study was investigated effect of the surface roughness characteristics of the processing and anotomical features naturally grown Oriental spruce (Picea orientalis (L.) Link.), Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky.) and Sweet chesnut (Castanea Sativa Mill.) in The Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. The experiments were prepared according to the standards to the cross-section samples. Test specimens were prepared from the lumber cut tangentially from logs. For his purpose; There were determined surfaca roughness and anatomical properties using planning 8 and 16 m/min feeding rates and sanding tool with 80, 100, 150 ve 180 sanding numbers. As a results, it was obtained, lower surface roughness values of erlywood than latewood. In addition, planning in lower feed rates than planning in higher feed rates. Sanding surface roughness lower feed rates was lower than that of higher feed rates. Surface roughness of Oriental spruce and Oriental beech were lower with increasing sanding numbers. However, Anatolian chestnut showed from different results due to heterogenous structure. Surface deformation of wood species decreased with increasing sanding numbers. In addition, surface roughnesses at the machining process were affected by anatomical structures of woods.
