Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the pursuit of fragrant molecule design for potential applications in the fragrance industry, a diverse array of aldoxime and aldonitrone derivatives with aromatic and aliphatic substituents was synthesized. The synthesis yielded these aldoximes with gram scale yields, demonstrating a lack of diastereoselectivity as confirmed by GC-MS measurements. Employing these aldoximes and aldonitrones in 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions, high regioselectivity was observed within a 5 position in the production of isoxazoline and isoxazolidine carboxylate derivatives when treated dipolarophilic reagents methyl methacrylate (MMA), glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) with nitrile oxide and MMA and ethyl methacrylate (EMA) with nitrones. Various characterization techniques, including NMR, FT-IR, GC-MS, and TOF-LCMS analysis, were employed to characterize the obtained compounds. The microbial properties of the synthesized molecules were determined by investigating whether the molecules were capable of allowing bacterial and fungal growth in the final product. Through this multifaceted investigation, the research not only advances fragrant molecule design but also provides a promising avenue for future olfactory innovations.
