Abstract (EN)
The theme of this thesis is; the historical period between the 12th and 21st century of Hungarian and Turkish Painting. In focus are tableau pictures made using various techniques and materials (excluding wall paintings/murals). Also included is a study which examines the common and different statuses of national and art wealth of these countries in this historical period. Therefore this study of art works and groups which covers approximately one thousand years of Hungarian and Turkish Painting history is written with a focus on historical order and looks especially at tableau pictures from the miniatures through to contemporary works. In this thesis the art infrastructures referring to: art education, economy and politics in both of these countries are examined. The images of the art works considered are chosen to reflect the same time periods.
