Abstract (TR)

To investigate the relationship between the IL-6, TNFα, INFγ,CRP, Ferritin, LDH and other markers with severity of COVID-19 in diabetic patients. The case group consisted of 60 diabetic patients (30 with COVID-19 and 30 without COVID-19). The control groups included 30 people. The serum levels of IL-6, TNFα, INFγ,CRP, Ferritin, LDH and other markers were determined using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the serum level of inflammatory parameters determined using a double antibody sandwich ELISA. An automatic biochemical analyzer was used to determine the levels of LDL, HDL,triglycerides, total cholesterol, and fasting blood glucose in each group. At the same time, clinical baseline data from each group of patients were included. According to our findings, there was a statistically significant inverse association between the percentage of oxygen saturation and the blood levels of inflammatory markers. The associations with IL-6, CRP, ferritin, LDH, and D-di-mer, which may be employed as sensitive biomarkers for evaluation of the risk of infection severity in COVID 19 patients, were shown to be statistically significant. According to the findings of the research, elevated levels of inflammatory biomarkers such as CRP, LDH, ferritin, IL-6, and D-dimer were among the risk variables that were connected with the severity of COVID 19 infection.
