Özet (EN)
In this thesis study, which was carried out in Toroslar district of Mersin province between 2019-2020 to reveal the importance of risk assessment in occupational accidents, a construction site was determined and dangers were identified by visiting this site with the risk assessment team. These detected hazards were evaluated and graded with the Fine-Kinney Risk Assessment Method and risk classes were created according to their grades. Precautions for each of these risks, which are classified according to the magnitude of the risk, were determined and a risk assessment table was created. This study was carried out in Çukurova University, Institute of Science, Department of Occupational Health and Safety. As a result, it has been revealed that the concept of frequency (frequency) is very important when conducting risk assessment in construction sites such as construction sites where there are many fatal occupational accidents. Therefore, frequency (frequency) factor should also be taken into account when making risk assessment.
