Özet (EN)

This research was carried out to determine the effects of using herbal extracts in quail diets on performance characteristics. A total of 108 10-day-old Japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica) were used in the experiment. The experiment was carried out in 3 groups, 1 control and 2 trial, each consisting of 36 chicks. Each group had 4 subgroups. The mixture of herbal extract was added to the diets at the levels of 30 and 60 mg/kg. The trial period was 28 days. During the 28 d experiment, the addition of different levels of herbal extract mixture to the diets positively affected live weight, live weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion rate of the quails. No statistical effect was observed in terms of internal organ weights and carcass yield. As a result, using different levels of herbal extract mixture in quail diets has a significant effect on performance characteristics.
