Özet (EN)

This research was conducted to reveal the effects of using sepiolite and herbal extract mix on broiler diets on performance and carcass characteristics. A total of 96 Ross 308 male daily broiler chicks were used. It is divided into a control and three trial groups, each 24 chicks. In diets 0% sepiolite and herbal extract, 1% sepiolite and 50 mg/kg herbal extract and 1% sepiolite+ 50 mg/kg herbal extract were used. The trial was continued for 34 days.During the trial, no statistical effects of the addition of sepiolite and herbal extracts were observed in terms of performance, carcass characteristics andinternal organ weights. Total feed consumption values during 34 days of the experiment were not different among groups. The carcass yield increased significantly with the use of 1% sepiolite (P <0.05) however it was not affected by the use of herbal extract orsepiolite with herbal extract. As a result, the use of sepioliteand/or herbal extract in broiler diets did not make any differences in performance.
