Özet (EN)
This research was conducted to determine the effects of different amounts of Spirulina platensis added to the diets of broiler chicks on the performance, internal organ weights and carcass yield. 144 Ross 308 broiler day-old male chicks were used in the study and the research continued for 42 days. It was divided into control and two experimental groups, each with 48 chicks. Spirulina platensis was used at 0, 0.05, 0.1% levels in diets in each period. During the study, no statistical effect was observed on the performance, carcass yield and the relative internal organ weight percentages with the dietary addition of Spirulina platensis at the different levels. As a result, in this trial conducted in an environment where optimum conditions were provided, the addition of Spirulina platensis to the diets at 0.05% and 0.1% levels did not have any effect on the performance of broilers. However, the effect of adding Spirulina platensis to the diets in broilers raised under field conditions or in stressful environments should be investigated.
