Cahit Atay's pieces

Cahit Atay is a striking writer who worked for theatrical pieces in Turkish Literature. He directed himself to theatre after breaking his education.In his works, he generally focused on some subjects especially; uneducated people, who lived in Anatolian region, bride price, religious abusing, vendetta.Because of worked in different jobs throughout of his life he witnessed many things and there is a parallelism between the things and his works subjects.In this study; Cahit Atay?s Works position in our literature and a very valuable person who worked for our literature is tried to describe.Keywords: Writer, Life, Theatre.
