Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, companies need to use their resources effectively and efficiently because of the competition in the sectors. Of this reason, it is of great importance that companies take the measures that increase their performance on time as a result of the measurements and evaluations of the performances. The most frequently used methods of financial performance evaluation are Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. MCDM methods include both objective and subjective assessments. With the help of MCDM methods, the best alternatives ranking can be obtained by determining the criteria of each existing alternative and comparing these criteria. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the financial performance of the companies which are traded in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco sector in the period of 2012-2016 by using AHP, PROMETHEE and TOPSIS as a multi-criteria decision making method and to compare the ranking made according to all three methods.
