The aim of the thesis is to investigate the social, economic, social development and transformation of the capital Ankara in the early years of the Republic, other sample villages established in Turkey, and the economic, social, and educational developments of the sample village Ahi Masud established in the early years of the Republic. The purpose of the reconstruction activities that started in the capital Ankara after the proclamation of the Republic is to provide both economic and social modernization in the newly established order. In this regard, the Anatolian peasant has been the most focused and significant element. The task was to develop the peasant economically, to develop and strengthen agriculture, and to provide social opportunities. The name Ahi Masud became Etimesgut with the words of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk; over time, it began to be called Etimesgut by the people. With the establishment of the Etimesgut Railway Station in Etimesgut, the region has been tried to develop, ease of transportation to the west has been provided and settlement activities in the district have increased. Many institutions and organizations such as Etimesgut Boarding School, Türkkuşu, Etimesgut Health Center, Cement Factory, Etimesgut Aircraft Factory, and Etimesgut Radio Station were established in the sample village planned by Architect Arnold Ernest Egli. With the growth in the population, Etimesgut has become an important district in Ankara and has been developed by the local government.
