Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the effects of different seed rates on yield and quality characteristics of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) originating from Mardin and Denizli grown as winter and summer. The research was carried out in the experimental fields of the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Dicle University in 2017-2018 growing season. In the experiment which was carried out in three replications of split plots in randomized blocks, sowing time (winter and summer) was placed in the main plots, ecotypes in sub-plots (Mardin and Denizli), and seed rates (1, 2, 3 and 4 kg / da) were placed in the lower plots. According to the results of the research, the effect of sowing time, ecotype, sowing frequency, sowing time x sowing frequency interactions on seed yield was found to be statistically significant, highest seed yield (277.31 kg / da) 1kg / da seed rate and lowest seed yield (139.59 kg / da) was obtained from 4 kg / da seed rate. In terms of essential oil ratio, the effect of ecotype, seed rate and sowing time x ecotype interactions on the volatile oil ratio was found to be statistically significant. The highest essential oil rate (0.36%) was obtained from Mardin ecotype in summer sowing and the highest essential oil (0.36%) values were 1 kg / da seed rate. The main components of coriander essential oil were identified as linalool, camphor, γ-terpinene, p-cymene, nerol and geraniol. It was determined that the linalol ratio varied between 67.24-87.38% and the highest linalol ratio was obtained from 1 kg / da seed rate in Mardin and 2 kg / da seed rate in Denizli at winter plantings. While linalol ratio varies between 69-89% and 72.37% in summer plantings, the highest values were obtained from 4 kg / da seed amount in Mardin origin and 3kg / da seed amount in Denizli origin.
