Abstract (EN)

Risk management, which has an important place in the criteria of the Ministry of Health Quality Standards in Health, provides guidance in terms of preventing or minimizing the risks related to the safety of patients, patients' relatives, visitors, employees, facilities and the environment and the services provided in the hospital, or by fighting at the source. Since the health sector is a complex structure and risks may be specific to the units, it is an important step to know which method is more accurate to use when performing risk analysis and to make analyzes accordingly. In this study, we used two types of risk analysis methods to see which method is more usable and to determine how different the risks can be rated between the two methods, and the L-type matrix and the Fine Kinney Method were used together. When the 47 risks determined as a result of the data obtained in the evaluation were evaluated according to the L-type Matrix method, 15 were significant, 30 were moderate, and 2 were tolerable; When calculated according to the Finne Kinney method, 9 possible, 14 important, 12 essential and 12 intolerable risks were determined and the hazards causing them were identified and the precautions to be taken for each risk were specified. Considering the identified risks and suggested measures, the improvements to be made play an important role in increasing the service quality by providing important positive results in patient and employee safety.
