Included in the sermons published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs include and evaluation of the hadiths (2015-2018)

Since the beginning of Islam, mosques have had an important place in the life of Muslims. Mosques, which appeal to all ages and segments since the first years of Islam, continue to function in the same way today. Mosques are one of the institutions where non-formal education activities are carried out. We can say that the most important education given here is a sermon. Sermon, which is one of the kinds of religious oratory, Hz. Prophet (s.a.s.) has preserved its importance and will continue to do so. The topics discussed in the sermon make the sermon more important in terms of teaching religious principles, reminding moral values, and addressing the problems that arise witht the herapid change of life. In addition to this, it also makes the quality of benefiting from hadiths important in the issues discussed. The use of hadiths in sermon, which contributes to the reflection and survival of the sunnah in our lives, makes it necessary to examine the sources where the hadiths are used and the degree of authenticity. For this reason, after mentioning mosque education in this study, the hadiths in the sermons of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (2015-2018) were included. The use of the latest hadiths, the use of resources and the degree of authenticity were evaluated.
