Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to evaluate the relationship between intuitive eating and eating attitudes and to compare them with groups that do not/diet. The study was conducted with 100 adult volunteers who were randomly selected. Forms created for this study in order to collect data; Intuitive Eating Scale, Eating Attitude Scale and a questionnaire including the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants were used. In the study, it was determined that there was a strong relationship between emotional eating and all subscales of the Intuitive Eating Scale (p<0.05). In addition, the body mass index, weight and height data obtained from the participants; It was concluded that the intuitive eating scale had a significantly negative relationship with all subscales. However, all subscales of the intuitive eating scale; It was also found that there is a relationship between education level, dieting status and having a medical disorder. Considering the results of the study, it is understood that having an intuitive eating and eating attitude awareness is effective in creating a healthy lifestyle. For this reason, it is necessary to develop new strategies by providing more training in this area.
