The effects of using EBA coding module on middle school learners beliefs about their self efficacy on programming and the views of learners about the module

The aim of the study is to analyse the effects of 5 th grade students about their self- efficacy on programming, module and the usability of module. The study has been carried out in the second term of education year of 2017-2018, with 5 th grade 30 students in total from Anayazi Middle School, as 15 students in experimental group and 15 students in control group chosen from among the students who have attended the course of Information Technologies and Software Supporting and Educating. During the process of study, the EBA Coding module has been used in the experimental group and method of showing used in control group in the education process. According to results of the study, the education process in which EBA Coding module has been used is more efficient in increasing the self-efficacy of students on programming than the education process in which method of showing has been used , and also study shows that students think that EBA Coding module is more beneficial and informative , and also they think EBA Coding is an usable module in education.
