The effect of exchange rate on textile export

The study examine the impact of exchange rate volatility on the exports of textile sector by using panal data approach. By analyzing different factors which could be affecting the exports in general, both fixed effect and random effects models are used in this study. The results of the fifteen firm which are listed in the Borsa Istanbul shows a negative relationship between exchange rate and exports. This study developed by using different methodology and all the results were significant. Keywords: Exchange rate , Export, Textile sector , Panel data.
