Abstract (EN)

This research aims to identify the effect of mediation and nepotism on the performance of employees in government departments in Sheikhan, and whether this phenomenon exists or not. To achieve this purpose, the researcher has chosen a number of different government departments in sheikhan , the survey forms have been randomly distributed to different levels of employees, and the spss program has been used. The study showed that there is a relationship between mediation and performance on the one hand, nepotism and performance on the other hand, and that the relationship between mediation and performance is stronger than the relationship between nepotism and performance. The study also showed that mediation has a significant impact on the performance of employees in government departments for many reasons including state laws, citizens' understanding of mediation, community culture, etc. The study appeared that every mediation performed by the employee in government departments reduces the employee's performance by a value of (0.239). But according to the opinions of the research community and the results reached by the researcher, it appeared that there is no effect of nepotism on the performance of employees in government departments for reasons that are due to the opinions of the research community (the employees themselves). The results of the study showed that there is no difference between gender in mediation and nepotism, but the difference appeared between age groups and the level of education, experience, and positions in mediation and these differences are not found in nepotism. Keywords: Mediation, Nepotism, performance.
