The second one is to study prediction scale of five factor personality traits, organizational ostracism, positive work behavior and regression (physical and psychological) and burnout. In order to gather data, in addition to personal information forms " Organizational Ostracism Scale", "Personality Inventory of Five Factor Personality Traits" "Positive Work Behavior Scale" "Regression Scale" and "Maslach Burnout Inventory" have been used in the study. While analysing the data, descriptive statistics such as percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and standard deviation factor analysis and reliability analysis, t-test for independent groups, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis have been used. The academicians working in the departments of business faculties and economic and administrative sciences faculties of universities in Turkey establish the scope of this research. The data have been gathered through convenience sampling method. The link of online survey form has been sent to academicians via e-mail. 446 academicians from 57 universities, 188 of whom are women and 258 of whom are men, responded to the survey. The average age of the participants is 39.59 (S = 10.25). 296 of the participants are married and 150 of them are single. Findings have shown that the men experience organizational ostracism more than the women. Moreover, married academicians experience more organizational ostracism than the singles and thus they display more positive work behavior and physical regression. Academicians with PhD display more positive work behavior than academicians with Master's degrees. Research assistants experience burnout more than associate professors and professor. In addition, lecturers and lecturers with PhD experience burnout more than professors. Associate professors show more positive work behaviors than research assistants. Research assistants have higher levels of psychological and physical regression than professors. The hierarchical regression analysis results show that the personality traits of extraversion, responsibility and openness to new experiences positively and meaningfully predict positive work behavior. Responsibility personality trait predict psychological regression in a negative way and neuroticism and organizational ostracism predict psychological regression in a positive way. Responsibility and openness to new experiences predict physical regression in a negative way and neuroticism and organizational ostracism predict psychological regression in a positive way. Finally, extraversion, agreeableness and responsibility predict burnout in a positive way and neuroticism and organizational ostracism predict burnout in a positive way.
