Abstract (EN)

In this thesis; In order to determine the relationships between digestibility and physical (cut-off) of rumen using in situ (nylon bag) method of stalk parts of 25 varieties of Bread Wheat hybrids developed in Eskişehir region. The aim of this study is to determine the types of wheat straw used to cover the roughage gap in our country which are easy to digest and that use less energy as mechanization. In order to determine in situ degradability, 3 head of rumen cannulated domestic cattle were used. The feed samples were weighed with the weight determined according to nylon bag size and placed in the bags and allowed to incubate for 0 and 24 hours. After the incubation period, the samples were taken from the nylon bags and the chemical analysis was carried out. As a result, the ADF value of straw obtained from bread wheat stalks with rye gene added may be of various properties therein with in situ digestibility at higher rates than the ADF value of straw obtained from normal bread stalks. In addition, both mechanization and animal feeding are prominent when looking at shear-breaking properties. In this context, it is thought that straw obtained from bread wheat stalks with rye gene can be used in animal food.
