Abstract (EN)
In this study, the chemicals used for zinc/nickel coatings, one of the types of electrolytic coatings that are one of the methods of protection against corrosion, were compared and the most appropriate parameters of the coating that provide maximum protection against corrosion were tried to be determined. In electrolytic zinc/nickel coatings, studies were carried out with the concentration values of nickel, zinc and sodium hydroxide, which are the bath components, and the plating bath auxiliary chemicals, which are inorganic structures, and carrier and brightener chemicals with specific names Part A and Part B. Most of the chemicals used in the electrolytic plating industry in our country are imported. Therefore, in order to prevent excessive use of chemicals in the coating sector and to prevent foreign exchange loss, it is very important that the coating is carried out at appropriate chemical values and the minimum amount of chemicals is used. In this study, the most suitable chemical components for electrolytic zinc/nickel plating baths were determined. According to the results obtained, for zinc/nickel plating baths, 1.5 g/L nickel concentration, 9.5 g/L zinc concentration, 130 g/L NaOH concentration, 10 ml/L carrier and 0.6 ml/L brightener were used in the plating bath. optimal levels have been determined. The aim of this study is to prevent excessive chemical use by keeping bath components at optimal levels. It is also important to protect the material strength against corrosion.
