Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of training supported by kinetic brain exercises on technical performance, agility, attention and balance in elite tennis players. A total of 24 tennis players aged 9-11 were included in the study: 12 in the experimental group and 12 in the control group. The experimental group received technical training using kinesthetic brain exercises, while the control group received only tennis-specific technical training. Training sessions were conducted for 12 weeks, 4 days a week, and 120 minutes per day. Athletes were assessed before and after training with the AOS performance test, static and dynamic balance test, agility test, and attention measurement test. Data were analyzed using the Paired Samples T-test for within-group comparisons of normally distributed data before and after training, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test for within-group comparisons of non-normally distributed data, and the Independent Samples T-test for between-group comparisons. Data were evaluated at a significance level of 0.05. When the study findings were examined, the experimental group achieved better results than the control group in the AOS performance test, static and dynamic balance test, agility test, and attention measurement test (p>0.05). Consequently, it was determined that kinesthetic brain exercises, combined with technical training, improved tennis players' performance.
