Abstract (EN)
In the last centuries, when the reason began to be seen as the only source of knowledge and morality, the field of revelation was narrowed, and the way of rejecting the issues beyond reason was preferred. Skepticism was brought to the fore, and some local cultures were attributed to Islam. The authentic hadiths of the Prophet (pbuh) were evaluated within the framework of patriarchal tradition. In this context, the hadith that Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "I have not left any fitnah that is more harmful to men than women." Has been rejected as fabricated with the claim that it does not comply with reason and devalues women. Considering this issue, we have determined that this hadith, which we have discussed in our study, is narrated in most of the main sources. It was seen that the hadith narrated by ṣaḥābīs Usāma ibn Zayd and Sa'īd ibn Zayd as marfūʿ. It has been understood that the hadith is included in al-Kutub al-Sitta, apart from Abū Dāvūd's Sunan, and that many studies have been done on it both in terms of text and script. The issue of showing the woman as "fitna", which is the subject of criticism today, has been investigated. It was seen that the hadith commentators associated this hadith with the surah Āl ʿImrān, verse 14. Considering all these, the thesis was composed of two parts. In the first part, after the takhrīj of hadith has been done, has been passed to the criticism of the chain and the text. Information was given about all the narrators of the hadith. In the second part, the content of the hadith was examined and the word 'fitna' was subjected to a detailed analysis. The meaning of the Prophet's hadith was investigated.
