Abstract (EN)

The main subject of his thesis is to understand the perception of science and classification in the early Ottoman history with a special focus on the era of Murad II and Abdurrahman Bistâmî. Two main headings of these concepts are Nazarî/Amelî and Zahir/Bâtın and identified as the continuation of Islamic thought and have continued to exist in the eary Ottoman history. These two conceptions were united in the classification of Abdurrahman Bistâmî and thus, it was tried to establish a basis for scientific thought in the Islamic world which is not politically integrated. This floor makes it possible to make inferences for the future via the occult sciences which was flourished especially during the fifteenth century is seen in Bistâmî's texts as well. Beside the situation in his own period, Bistâmî's infuence in the sixteenth century and examining his connection with Taşköprîzâde Ahmed Efendi is very important in terms of showing the place of Bistâmî in the Ottoman scientific thought.
