Protection of signs, images and sounds that do not constitute a work

The main purpose of the study is to examine signs, pictures and sounds that are not works and the provisions that protect them. Before proceeding to the examination of the main subject, what a work is, the characteristics that an intellectual product must have in order to be considered a work, and the types of works included in the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works are explained and analyzed in articles. The moral and financial rights provided to the owner of the work are mentioned in order to make a comparison in terms of the rights provided to the person by having and not having the qualifications of being a work. Afterwards, signs, pictures and sounds that do not qualify as works are explained, and finally, the provisions regarding their protection are given in comparison with the protection of works.
