The idea of using historical industrial structures in the context of preservation of industrial heritage and cultural values in the name of providing re-service has produced important examples which have become widespread in recent years. One of the most important of these examples is Bursa Tofaş Anatolian Cars Museum reflects its place with pride, in the sector of the automotive industry from the legacy of old car mastery over the identity of Bursa. In order to serve the people in the automotive sector, by the advantage of having the oldest industrial and cultural resources, historical buildings has been an inspiration source to be transformed into an auto museum. "TOFAŞ BURSA ANATOLİAN CARS MUSEUM" which is exactly present in BURSA confirms this statement. It is a museum that is an example for keeping thousands of cars and industrial heritage alive in Anatolia. This musem has the feature to be the first and only museum, which tells the transition story from double horse-drawn Bursa carriages to modern cars. Our cultural heritage from the history is protected by museums and art galleries where private collections are exhibited. The museums are also characterized by the continuity of historical consciousness, geographical differences and the characteristics of being a deep-rooted state. In this thesis study. I have mentioned the assessment approaches of historical buildings, in the World, Turkey and Bursa which are transformed to museums as an industrial heritage. These transformed historical buildings has cultural legacies. As an exemplary design model that shows the contribution of old cars mastery legacy to a city identity, "TOFAŞ BURSA ANATOLIAN CARS MUSEUM" guided by TOFAŞ which reveals the progresses of automotive industry in Turkey. As a result, in this thesis study, it is aimed to be answers for curiosities of the buildings, which are transformed to museums and while doing it, how carefully they are preserved, what sort of restorations they get through to maintain their legacy to the next generations and all the labor done against ever-changing urban cycle.
