Examining the qualification and values expected of project managers in the construction industry

Project Manager has shown an impeccable role in construction industry productions, whereby all main keys of construction are influenced by the methods and skills that the project manager and his/her team implement into the completion of the project at client satisfaction (cost, quality and time). Many project managers have been struggling to achieve a desirable level but the project management skills, appliances and implementations are limited. In construction, the project manager is the centre of activity, guiding the project to completion. However, many projects have struggled with the performance of various project managers due to a variety of factors, and some people do not have a clear understanding of what a project manager does. Many people believe that a project manager's job is limited to monitoring work, especially when the project is in progress, but a project manager's job is much broader and begins before construction begins. This study defines project manager values in the construction industry and how each project manager should strive to achieve them at a high level of competence. To learn more about the construction industry's ideas and opinions on this topic, A quantitative study was conducted from beginning to end, analysing construction project management methods and how they can be used in all stages of construction to ensure project success, as well as the advantages of hiring a project manager who understands the tasks and demonstrates his or her values. Several employees of construction and consultancy firms carried it out. A formula for predicting the number of individuals to be surveyed with a confidence level using the Likert scale for questionnaires. The study examines the responsibilities of a project manager, as well as the skills required of a competent construction project manager, as well as the benefits of his or her activities on a construction project.
