Abstract (EN)
In this study, all the works of Fazıl Bayraktar, one of the important figures of contemporary poets and writers, and all his writings published in newspapers and magazines were examined in terms of folk culture. Fazıl Bayraktar is one of the important poets, storytellers and researchers grown in Kastamonu, one of the important Turkish cultural capitals of Anatolia. His childhood passed in an environment where Turkish customs, traditions and customs were alive. Due to his military profession, Fazıl Bayraktar traveled to Anatolia from one end to the other. The author was intertwined with the Anatolian geography and the people of Anatolia he observed, lived and travelled. Bayraktar covered the social problems of the period in which he lived and discussed the important problems of Anatolian people. Fazıl Bayraktar is a versatile writer who publishes different genres. Besides many works such as poetry, letters, interviews, newspaper articles, he has taken his place among today's story writers with about sixty stories. The author consciously included many folklore elements in his works with his curiosity for the folk culture. In this respect, the works of the author are folklore materials. In the first part of the study consisting of three parts, life and works of Fazıl Bayraktar have been presented. In the second part, giving information about the storytelling of the Republican Period and the general characteristics of Fazil Bayraktar's stories have been given. In the third chapter, the examples of folklore and folk literature, which were determined in the stories of the author, have been presented and classified as examples
