Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between depression, anxiety and stress status and quality of life perceptions of physically disabled adolescents was investigated. The study was carried out with a cross-sectional-descriptive and correlation-seeker model. The population of the study consisted of adolescents between the ages of 14-17 followed in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Biruni University Health Education Application and Research Center, and the sample consisted of 42 adolescents selected by convenient (convenient) sampling method. Introductory Information Form, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-42) and Children's Quality of Life Scale (PILQQ) were used for data collection. SPSS 23 program was used in the analysis of the data and the study was carried out at 95% confidence level. According to the data obtained, no statistically significant difference was found between the groups of gender, education status and disability rates in terms of DASS-42 and PIDQ scores and sub-dimension scores. The "Health and Activity Related Problems" sub-dimension score of adolescents in the 14 age group is higher than those in the 15 and 16 age groups. Adolescents with permanent disability have higher scores on the "Problems Related to School" sub-dimension than adolescents with temporary disability. A high positive correlation was found between DASS-42 and PIDQ. A high positive correlation was found between depression and PIDQ, a moderate positive correlation between anxiety and PIDQ, and a high positive correlation between Stress Scale and PIDQ.
