The Bursa Cönk numbered GE5299 (Introduction–language examination– text–directory)

This study was prepared for the determination of the 19th-century vocabulary and the orthography-pronunciation relationship, which is the transition phase from the Classical Ottoman Turkish period to Turkey Turkish. The vocabulary of the nineteenth century, and in parallel with the orthography-pronunciation relation studies, were followed up through the junk texts in which the pronunciation properties were reflected in the orthographies in great measure. The material of this work constitutes cönk registered with the numbers GE5299 in the Bursa İnebey Yazma Eser Library. The study started with the translation of these texts firstly. Later, the Grammatical Index of Cönk were prepared to reveal the whole vocabulary. In these indexes, each alphabetically ordered word and/or phrase is given according to its formal, semantic and grammatical properties. In order to determine the phrase-pronunciation relationship of the 19th century, the spelling of some words and suffixes in cönk, which were written differently from their original forms or general writing tendencies, is focused on by carrying out The Evaluation on Vocabulary of Cönk. The findings and general evaluations were included in the conclusion section.
