Abstract (EN)

Many chaotic systems, including Genesio system, have been developed and thoroughly analyzed over the past years. A chaotic system is a nonlinear deterministic system behaving complex and unpredictable behavior. Recent efforts have investigated the controlling chaos and synchronization.Chaos control problems consist of attempts to stabilize a chaotic system to either a periodic orbit or an equilibrium. The synchronization problem means making two systems oscillate in a synchronize manner. The dynamical behaviors of two copies of a chaotic system may be identical after a transient when the second system is driven by the first one. Several different approaches have already been successfully applied to the problem. In this thesis, chaos synchronization of two identical Genesio systems is studied. Three methods of chaos synchronization are applied in this study; Pecora and Carroll, active control and linear generalized synchronization. The sufficient conditions for achieving synchronization of two identical Genesio systems are drived by using Lyapunov stability theory. Numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed chaos synchronization schemes.
