Degree of satisfaction research in regard to diffirent variables in fine arts high school music department students

Fine arts high schools are institutions that give vocational education in the fields of music and painting in secondary education level. The aims of those schools are to teach vocational skills to students and prepare them for a higher education related to their fields. In the study, satisfaction levels of the music department students studying in the fine arts high schools in regard to different variables such as the factors of the execution and evaluation of the lessons, communication with academic and administrative personnel, equipment and laboratory and sense of belonging and guidance were collected with ''Student Satisfaction Scale Concerning Education at Higher Education'' which was developed by Demirli (2009). 83 state high school of fine arts in Turkey constitute the nature of the study. Sample group was chosen as the first and last founded fine arts schools that have 9th and 12th grade students in the 2019-2020 school year from seven geographical regions. The study is a quantitative research in terms of the purpose it carries, the followed method in accordance with this purpose and quality of the collected data and it is based on scanning method. The data acquired in the study was interpreted by comparing with "SPSS 20.00.0 for Windows" package program for the social sciences. According to the results of the study, the expectations of the 9th grade fine arts high school music department students were determined as high in all factors while perceptions of 12th grade students were determined as low. Thus, according to SERVQUAL method, it can be stated that the discrepancy between the expectations and perception concerning satisfaction of fine arts high school students are negative in all factors.
