Examination of the views attributed to İmam Shafii in the worship section of Haddâd's work titled al-Jawharatu'n-nayyirah

Haddād's al-Jawharat al-naiyyira is one of the most important works in the Hanafī school. al-Jawharat al-naiyyira is an summarized text of al-Sirūj al-wahhāj, Haddād's commentary on al-Qudūrī's al-Muhtasar. In al-Jawharat al-nayyire, Haddād made many references to Imam Shāfi'ī, the founder of the Shāfi'ī madhhab. In this study, Haddād's references to Imam Shāfi'ī in the section of worship in al-Jawharat al-naiyyira are analyzed. Our study consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, information about the subject, importance, aim, method and sources of the study is given. In the first chapter, information about Haddād's life and works is given by utilizing biographical sources. In the second part, the opinions attributed to Imam al-Shafi'i in al-Jawharat al-Nayyire were analyzed from Shafi'i sources. As a result of the research, 103 references were made to Imam Shafi'i and 99 of these references were found to be accurate while 4 were not. In the conclusion section, the accuracy rate of the references is given in a table and the findings are shared.
