Abstract (EN)

Objective:This research; In the undergraduate education process, clinical applications such as Nursing Principles, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Women Health and Disease Nursing, Child Health and Disease Nursing, Nursing Management, Nursing Education and nursing in applied and elective courses was planned as a descriptive study for the identification and evaluation of stress levels experienced by students. Materials sand Methods: The simple of research consisted of 222 students who attended the Florence Nightingale Hospital Nursing School of Istanbul Science University and who accepted to participate in the research from 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. Datum; was collected using the 'Personal Characteristics Information Form' and 'Nursing Education Stress Scale' prepared by the researcher. Within the scope of the thesis study, the item-total score correlation coefficient and Cronbach alpha values were calculated. By showing the distribution of scale scores, scale scores; the difference analysis was compared according to the socio-demographic and learning characteristics of the student sand relations between scale scores were calculated. In the analysis of the data; descriptive statistics such as frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage were used. For difference analyzes, t test was used for two independent variables, one-way ANOVA test for more than two independent variables, and Pearson's correlation test for relationship analysis. Findings: The relationships between Nursing Education Stress Scale scores in this study were examined. According to the results of the analysis, item-total score correlations ranged from 0,29 to 0,69 and all items were found to be statistically significant with the scale total score(p<0,05).When the relationships between the total scores of Nursing Education Stress Scale and subscale scores were examined, it was found that there was statistically significant, positive and very high level between HSE total score and academic stress subscale. (rs: 0,937, p<0,01). In addition, it was determined that there is a statistically significant, positive and very high level (rs: 0,931, p <0,01) relationship between HESO Total Score and Application Stress sub-dimension. Conclusions: According to the results of the study, it is suggested that stress levels should be determined early in the clinical practice education period of the students and solutions for the strasse should be presented.
