The analysis of the problematic of political and religious role casted for the Hasan and his kin with

Hasan b. Ali b. Ebi Talip has been a personality talked about frequently due to his history and religious personality. He was selected as caliph after the death of his father Ali b. Ebi Talip but he has assigned caliphate to Muaviye. Therefore, Hasan b.Ali was subject to some criticism by a segment of the society regarding he has assigned caliphate to Muaviye in order to achieve some benefits, the others tried to make some explanations for such critics due to his closeness with Prophet. This conflict was also reflected to the provisions of Hasan-Muaviye agreement leading conflicting terms and conditions to take place in historical sources.Although there are independent studies carried on the subject within Islamic world, lack of any detailed study on the Hasan and his kin lead us to conduct this research. In order to have an idea about him, the private life of The Hasan was also included to the study. His caliphate and his assign caliphate to Muaviye was also researched along with the reasons. By inspecting the kin of The Hasan within historical process, efforts are made to clarify the political activities of the persons from his kin that play a significant role.Key words: Hasan b.
