The parliamentary elections from he First Constitutional Monarchy to the Republic

The electoral system and elections are important and indisputable fact in today's democratic societies. The most basic determination of the people to govern themselves literally, is what we call elections and is one of the most important milestones in the history of Turkish democracy.In recent years, our country has had successive elections and unrest in our region leads us to the first election. Choice turkish political life, selection and election is the subject of studies in the period up to the early days of the Ottoman Empire to withdraw from the scene Tranzımat, date on which concept is selected. In the first part of the study electoral framework concept described in the electoral system and electoral system applied in the world, the majority system are given explanations about the electoral system and the mixed system. Since the beginning of the second chapter of the Ottoman elections it is discussed about council culture. The third chapter in the First Constitution , before the Ottoman Empire's political, it has revealed the idea of the general economic situation. The fourth chapter of Ottoman First Constitution is starting with elections held after the Armistice Agreement until is made the last review of elections. In this context, the 1877-1878 elections, 1908 elections, 1912 elections, 1914 elections, 1918 elections are discussed in general terms.
