The qiraah in İbn Atiyye's tafseer

Al-Qiraats, which are taken part scattered in Tafsir sources, are to provide the understanding of the Qur'anic verses. Although Ibn Atiyya, one of the Andalusian scholars of the VI / XII century, has no an independent qiraat work, he makes extensive use of the shazz and sahih qiraats in his commentary book Muharrerul-Vaciz. In this study, Ibn Atiyya's chanting of the qiraats and the use of these qiraats which he mentioned can be discussed in term of tafsir and qiraat. For this purpose, this work of Ibn Atiyya is scanned in terms of qiraat. The sample of qiraat settled in the work of Mufassir was tried to be determined. The information and findings obtained from this survey are handled in three main chapter. In this study, it is emphasized that Ibn Atiyya handles the qiraats in the context of tafsir and the purpose of his using these qiraats in the commentary. In addition, how Ibn Atiyya attributed value to qiraat differences in order to understand the meaning is compared with the sources of commentary and qiraat, including the interpretation of philological and fiqh provisions. In addition to this, Ibn Atiyya's opinion on accepting or rejecting sahih and shazz qiraats, preferences and reasons he made between qiraats, sources of qiraat which he mentioned and his opinion about seven letters are included.
