Abstract (EN)

This research was made to determine in the levels of fulfilling the constructive teacher roles of the elementary school science and technology teachers. The context of this research consist of teachers working in the 4th and 5th classes in the city center of Kilis and in the towns and the class teacher who teach science and technology and teh science and technology teachers teaching in the 6th , 7th and 8th classes.Scanning model is used in the research collecting data instrument was developed to determine the levels of fulfilling the constructive teacher roles. To provide the avability and reliability of the data instrument developed, the first application was given to 108 teachers who teach science and technology subject in the city center of Kilis and in its towns in 2009. Later, the survey which was given the lastest from after asking the views of the experts was applied to 132 elementary school science and technology teachers by an researcher in the city center of Kilis and its town in 2008-2009 teaching year.The fact that to what extent the teachers fulfilled their constructive teacher role was determined through percentage, frequency and aritmetic avarage. The views of the teachers were evaluated according to their sex, seniority and branch and science laboratory and technology classes. The data obtained from the survey forms was analyised SPSS. In the meaning tests, the level of 0.05 eas taken as a base.Key Words: Constructive Approach, Science and Technology Subject, Teacher.
