Interior design and interior design student relationship: Mareşal Fevzi Cakmak Pakmaya

In this study; A primary school was selected as an example of elementary school within the boundaries of the Şişli district of Istanbul. The architectural structure of this school was examined within the scope of color and ergonomics and a final survey was conducted with the students studying at the school. The aim of the thesis is to show how the physical properties of schools with educational venues can be effective in developing students' visual and mental perceptions. The minimum design standards of the educational structures were examined in the context of the interior and different examples were presented from abroad. Then, the perception of space and especially the effect of color and ergonomics on the perception of space in children between 7 and 11 years old were investigated. As well as changes in the last year of primary school building in Turkey within the scope of the thesis and it collected information about the history of the selected schools. A questionnaire study was conducted based on face-to-face interview technique with the students of the 3rd and 4th grades of the school. In this survey study, the ideas and demands of the students about the interior elements of the school were determined and the results of the survey were evaluated in the last section together with the data obtained.
