The impact of strategic innovation management practices and organizational agility on organizational performance during the pandemic: A research on medical sector in Ankara

During the global COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations have faced economic and social consequences. Unexpected results shape businesses to become more adaptable and to transform their operations more technology-oriented in uncertain business environments. Organizations understand to seek alternative ways to continue their operations during the global pandemic. This recent study aims to the influence of strategic innovation management practices on organizational performance and the moderating role of organizational agility. In our data collection process, we collect data from top-level executives from medical sectors in Ankara via online self-reported questionnaires. After examination of our data, the result shows that strategic innovation management practices have a significantly positive impact on organizational performance in the medical sector, Ankara. In addition, strategic innovation management and organizational agility interacted to affect organizational performance during the COVID-19 period.
