Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the security climate perceptions of the employees working for the public and private sector in construction field, due to the increase in the safety and health problems of the workers in the construction sector in our country. According to the research findings from 183 employees, it was found that employees' perceptions of organizational security climate were at an average level. However, the level of attitudes of research participants towards occupational health and safety is highest among other dimensions related to security climate. On the other hand, perceptions of participants' organizational security climate do not differ according to the educational status, while participants' perceptions of organizational security climate differ according to participants' gender and tenure. The difference among participants' perceptions of safety climate at workplaces according to their employment status in the public or private sector is the other finding of the research.
