Opinions of hearing impaired individuals on religious services provided by the Presidency of Religious Affairs

The research aims to provide insights into the religious services provided by the Religious Affairs Directorate for the Deaf. The research's core problem will be addressed through subheadings on awareness of the services offered, their individual and individual evaluation, and the problems encountered during these services. The purpose of this research is to reveal the opinions of hearing-impaired individuals regarding the religious services provided by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. The research will identify the problems and their causes encountered in the religious services provided by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for hearing-impaired individuals and propose solutions for these problems. It is believed that the reasons for these identified problems and the proposed solutions will inform the services to be provided by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and future work in the field of people with disabilities. This research, designed using a qualitative design, employed a case study method. The study group consisted of 12 female and 12 male adults with hearing impairments residing in the city center of Amasya and its districts. The study consists of an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The introduction section includes the research problem, its purpose and significance, and the study's assumptions and limitations. The first section establishes the conceptual framework for the study, including disability and its types, the perspective of religions on disability, the history of disability in Turkey and society's perspective on disability, and the religious services provided by the Presidency of Religious Affairs to people with disabilities. The second section covers the research methodology, the reasons for choosing this method, and the implementation process. The third section draws on the opinions and interpretations obtained to arrive at the findings. The conclusion section summarizes the findings, presents various conclusions, and offers recommendations.
