Abstract (EN)
In the 1960s, in America, Matthew Lipman put forward a series of books and a philosophy education program targeting a specific age group. This program, which is called philosophy for children (P4C), aims at personal and social gains. It has a curriculum that includes the last year of high school starting from the pre-school period. The curriculum is based on the principle of developing language and thinking skills through philosophical problems in a democratic society. In this study, the implementation of P4C applications and research on the method were examined. Philosophers' allegorical thinking exercises are frequently used in P4C workshops to trigger thought. However, the fact that the allegory tradition of Islamic Philosophy has not been sufficiently applied in this regard has been seen as a deficiency in the field and answers have been sought for possible reasons.
