Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on the main factors affecting voting behaviors, one of the most emphasized issues of political science, public relations, political communication in terms of their characteristics. In order to be able to put it in the right way, it has been seen as a necessity to first express the basic theories that constitute voter behavior. Acting on these basic theories; Based on the sociological approach (Columbia School) and socio-psychological assumptions, the concept of ethnicity and female voters are discussed. According to the sociological approach, social characteristics and divisions play a decisive role in determining political preferences. The religious, ethnic and professional differences of voters are the main source of social divisions. People have always lived collectively since the day they existed on earth. All sociological analyzes have shown throughout history that individuals can not live alone and need a community. People who live in a collective need a regimen between themselves and a regulator that can provide the regimen between the other communities. People within the society, who dominate the others, who form an authority over their knowledge and skills, and who also give direction to society, are emerging as leaders. The leader emerges in relation to other people. No one can be a leader alone. The leader is a part of a social group. Some people in the society and the group may be more dominant. If the activity of these people persists in important matters, probably one of them will become a leader. However, if the reasons for making a leader change, the leader may also change. Always the most effective person can not be the leader. With another discourse, the leader can also determine the situation (Şerif, 1996: 211). When the conditions are taken into account, the choice of the leaders is not important in terms of the determination of political powers, but also in the analysis of the social structure, the interest of many branches of science such as political science and public relations. The subject of work is the concept of ethnicity. This concept has been tried to be explained by considering variables such as belief, ideology, previous period studies and comorbidity.
