Theater art of Kazat Akmatov

Literature, which was used as a propaganda tool in the Soviet period, played an important role in reflecting the ideology. Theater, which is an important branch of literature, is one of the branches that serve this purpose. While the works reflecting the oppressive ideology of the period were written, the works of nationalist writers who had the opposite view also made a lot of noise. Writer Kazat Akmatov, who is one of these writers and has made significant contributions to the Kyrgyz theater in recent years, is quite successful in conveying the Kyrgyz traditions and customs, history and social life. In the introduction part of our study, information about the theater tradition in Kyrgyz literature and the life and literary personality of Kazat Akmatov is given. In the first part, Acırasuu Tünü and Samal, where Kazat Akmatov criticizes the administration in the Soviet period; The theatrical works Azattıgım Armanım, which tells about the struggle of the Kyrgyz for their independence, and Munabiya, about the forbidden love of two people, which is not accepted by people, were transcribed and transferred to Turkey Turkish.
