This research deals with the issue of man from the perspective of the science of islamic theology (kalam) which discusses the fundamentals of religion and answers the great questions concerning divinity , prophecies, and the unseens. This study is an attempt to find out the full picture about the nature of man, his duty, and his desteny after this worldly life. The researcher analyzesed one of the most important secholarly works in this age named Risale-i Nur (the letters of the light) wish has been written by the great scholar Said Nursi. He Has revived this science of kalam by including a section to it in addition to its important topics which can be called ( islamic humanities). He has provided an important treatment to the existential human issues with systematic approach and a holistic content. Key Words: Man. Nature of man. Duty of man.
