The factors affecting on housing demand of foreign people in Kemer district: A hedonic approach

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the housing properties owned by the foreigners' in Kemer district on the housing prices and the housing market with the hedonic pricing approach in the light of the literature. For this purpose, questionnaires were surveyed to 300 people that randomly selected from foreign residents in Kemer. Multiple regression analysis based hedonic pricing model has been performed by using the data set obtained from the questionnaires. According to the results of the analysis, the majority of foreign residents who demand housing in Kemer are of Scandinavian origin. The concentration tendency coefficients of factors effecting on the price of the houses owned by foreigners which are important; housing size, bathroom number, and separated house have positive sign, but balcony number has negative sign.
